WARDROBED — Privacy Policy

WARDROBED is a personal styling app. This policy explains what it collects, why, and who processes it. We collect only what the app needs to work, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

What we collect

• Photos you add — pictures of your clothes, try-on photos, receipts, and profile selfies/body photos you choose to upload. These are how the app builds your closet and styles you.
• Style information — the items in your closet, your style profile (color season, body type, fit notes), saved looks, shopping items, favorite stores, and the preferences the stylist learns from your chats.
• Chat messages — your conversations with the in-app stylist, kept so it remembers context.
• Approximate location — only if you allow it, and only to look up local weather so outfit suggestions suit the day. Coordinates are used for weather and are not shared for any other purpose.

How your data is used

Your photos and style information are used solely to run the app's features for you: cataloguing your closet, generating outfit suggestions, analyzing your coloring and proportions, and answering your styling questions. Photos of clothing and profile photos are sent to our AI provider to be analyzed; they are processed to produce the app's results and are not used to train third-party models.

Who processes it (service providers)

• Anthropic (Claude) — analyzes photos and powers the stylist and suggestions.
• Neon — the database that stores your closet, profile, looks, preferences, and chat history.
• Cloudflare R2 — stores your uploaded images.
• Vercel — hosts the app.
• Open-Meteo — provides weather from approximate coordinates (no account or identity attached).
• FASHN— powers the optional virtual try-on: when you tap “See it on me,” your profile photo and the garment photo are sent to FASHN to generate the image and are deleted from their servers within 72 hours. Not used for training.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can remove items, looks, shopping entries, preferences, and clear your chat history from within the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email the address below and we will erase it.

Security

Access is protected by a per-account login, and each account's data is isolated. Images and data are transmitted over encrypted connections.

Children

WARDROBED is not directed to children under 13.
